Bankroll Management Across Bookmakers

Keep a clear view of money held across betting accounts, define loss limits before acting, and use records to avoid fragmented, impulsive decisions.

Start with one total you can afford to lose

Money held in several accounts is still one financial exposure. Before reviewing any market, define a total amount you can afford to lose without affecting essential spending, debt payments, savings goals, or wellbeing. Do not use a price alert to increase that amount.

Keep a simple account register: operator, available balance, pending withdrawals, open commitments, and any operator-imposed restrictions. The purpose is visibility, not maintaining more accounts or finding ways around restrictions.

Separate records from decisions

Set a written review rule before a market is in front of you: what information you will record, when you will stop for the day, and what would make you pause. A fixed process can reduce the temptation to react differently because funds happen to be in a particular account.

There is no universally correct percentage or account minimum. Financial circumstances, local rules, operator terms, and tolerance for loss differ. If a rule is hard to follow or starts to feel like a way to recover losses, reduce activity or pause.

Reconcile balances and withdrawals

Reconcile balances periodically rather than estimating from memory. Note withdrawals that are pending and any amounts that are unavailable because of settlement or operator requirements. This avoids treating inaccessible funds as spendable and helps identify data-entry mistakes.

If you choose to close an account or its terms change, follow the operator's official process. Do not create, share, or disguise accounts to bypass restrictions.

Review outcomes without chasing them

A useful bet log should connect each decision to its market, price, time, amount, and result. Reviewing that log alongside variance and sample size makes it easier to see why a small set of outcomes is not enough to prove a process works.

If betting is affecting your finances or wellbeing, stop and use the safer-gambling controls and support services available in your jurisdiction.

Keep records in PhotonOdds
